This year, Montenegrins have more optimistic views for this season - the flow of tourists is clearly growing compared to last year. Many hotels, villas and private apartments are already booked until September.
Well, it is clear, of course, that the Montenegrins themselves are making every effort to prepare everything for this season (and this, you know, is not so easy for them! 🙂): the beaches are being actively cleaned, foreign objects are being caught from the sea, urgently build houses and roads. In principle, one can even envy such speeds! No, really, I'm not kidding!
On May 20, the uncrowded Kamenovo beach was opened, which seemed abandoned and useless two weeks ago.
In cities of particular interest, such as Budva, Kotor, Herceg Novi, groups of enchanted tourists appear. Huge liners (five-story) come to Kotor every day and bring tourists (it is expected that 350 cruise ships will arrive in Kotor during the season!). It always amazes me how they manage not to run aground in the Bay of Kotor! It seems to be so small, but these liners are so gigantic ...

I read in a local newspaper that from June 1, 301 beaches will be available for tourists throughout Montenegro (of which 261 beaches are in general accessibility, the rest are given to hotels) and that more than 300 thousand Russian tourists are expected (according to Minister of Tourism Predrag Sekulich). About 40 planes will depart from Russian cities every week.

And this is good, more and more people will discover this small, wonderful and cozy country of the Black Mountains!
