But Budva is famous not only for its beaches - old town of Budva, restored almost from scratch after the devastating earthquake of 1979, is once again happy to share its history with tourists. The architecture in Venetian style is a trace of the centuries-old rule of the Venetian Republic in this part of the Montenegrin coast. HOW TO GET TO BUDVA
Budva is easily accessible by bus from almost anywhere in the country (approx. 5 euros). You can also use the services of taxi drivers who "attack" you upon arrival at the airport Tivat or Podgorica. The cost of a trip from Tivat will be within 20 euros (approx. 25 km along the Adriatic highway). Those who do not want to depend on the whims of airport taxi drivers can use the transfer services from private companies by ordering a meeting and delivery to the destination in advance. The cost of the transfer will be slightly higher, but it will more than pay for the saved time and nerves.
