Surrounded by sea and bay, the peninsula Lustica forms a mouth at the entrance to Bay of Kotor, which is why it has always occupied an important strategic position on the military maps of past years. Its seeming vulnerability to the enemy, combined with the lack of water on the peninsula, has led to the fact that today the Lustica peninsula has turned out to be one of the least built-up areas of the Montenegrin coast, which managed to preserve an almost pristine ecosystem, which is based on hectares of olive groves. It is here that two generations of the Stanic family carefully monitor the quality of their olive oil, producing the only olive oil in Montenegro, marked with a certificate of organic production. We invite you to walk through the olive groves, surrounded by spectacular views of the sea and Mamul fortressa, where two generations of the Stanich family are waiting for you to visit, who will gladly tell you about their craft.

Луштица - маслиновый рай

One of the most famous and well-preserved defensive fortresses in Montenegro was built on the island of Lastavica off the coast of Lustica by the Austro-Hungarians, and named Mamula in honor of one of the soldiers who served in this fortress. Attention! Our adventure begins with storming the once impregnable fortress, to which we will imperceptibly get up on the water and land at one of the least visible points of the island. We can wander around the fortress, from where we will open view of Croatia and the city of Herceg Novi, and it's great to imagine how difficult it was for the military to concentrate on the service, surrounded by such colorful views and the romantic sound of the surf!

Приключения на форте Мамула!

Каменные стены хранят тайны коварных заговоров

After getting acquainted with the fortress, we will have a short stop for swimming in the unique blue lagoone, access to which is possible only from the sea, and a walk through a tiny, formerly military, and now fishing, town Rose, in which the Austro-Hungarian fort is located - and now it houses a restaurant of national cuisine, where we can linger for a cup of coffee. From this side, views of Herceg Novi and Croatia will open!

Росе - рай для романтичных натур

Quite hungry, we will go to oilseed farming — visiting the Stanich familywho will feed us a homemade dinner and tell and show us their olive groves, from which for generations they have been making the best olive oil in the cellar of their 400-year-old house. The background of the dinner, cooked with love by the hostess at home, will be 300 year old cellar, where you will have a unique opportunity to try to spin an old millstone with your own hands and marvel at the skill of butter makers of past generations, and, of course, taste the fruits of the dairy - homemade olive oil, olives, olive oil cheeses and much more! A rich fish or meat lunch, consisting of national Montenegrin dishes, accompanied by homemade wine and brandy, without which no meeting of dear guests in hospitable Montenegro can do, will be the culmination of your acquaintance with the unique gastronomic traditions of Montenegro.
